We feel that it perfectly describes a point that many of us have reached in our lives. You know, that feeling of life starting to fall apart.  Getting your shit together embodies taking stock of what went wrong, and figuring out how to fix it.

WHERE WE CAME FROM

Our founder, Tammy Meers, understands just how arduous owning a business can be.  After many years managing and bookkeeping for firms across a variety of industries, she began to notice patterns with the owners she was speaking with.  Stress levels were at an all time high, and there never seemed to be enough hours in a day.  Managing the finances felt like a burden. It seemed as if the annual meeting with the Accountant was the only way to know if they were financially OK.  The majority had also experienced HR related issues that had caused further strain.

Tammy then realised that whilst business owners are experts at their particular trade or profession, they may not have necessarily received training on how to run a business the most effective way. Attending to this skills gap and providing knowledge and systems proved to be the missing link!

By implementing simple processes at a grass roots level, Tammy was able to impact both the business owners and their employees all at once.   Staff morale increased and life became much less stressful. Driven by her passion for helping others, Tammy wanted to achieve this on a much wider scale.  It was then that GYST Solutions was born, with a vision to improve as many businesses as possible.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

 

Thank you for stopping by! Now that you know a little bit about my baby, GYST Solutions, let me tell you a little bit a bout me.

 

I have an amazing husband, Steve, and two beautiful fur babies/doggies – Macchi and Tia. We are lucky enough to live in Tropical Far North Queensland and we absolutely love the outdoors and exploring our beautiful region.

 

The majority of my adult life has been dedicated to learning about, and working in, business operations and management.  Managing companies in industries such as Retail, IT, Recruitment, Hospitality, Finance and Construction has given me real world experience in knowing the finer details of what makes business succeed. I have also studied many disciplines including training, real estate, construction, finance and management. This experience in combination with my theoretical studies has resulted in me gathering quite the arsenal of knowledge and skills. I feel that it’s my duty to share this knowledge with business owners and managers and to give them back their sense of freedom.

 

Owning and running a business isn’t always easy.  I’ve seen and felt this first hand.  However I’ve also seen how a few small improvements can impact a business on a phenomenal scale.

 

I am passionate about helping businesses to succeed, and I know that I am fulfilling my purpose in life when clients thank me for helping to change both their business and their personal lives.
